Just wondering if you ended up with the nephrostomy or not. I got pretty good at the nephrostomy change outs and dressing changes as well as some great tips for care for this. With nephrostomy, showering is the limit of wetness.
And my nephrostomy tubes block more frequently and I don't dare schedule the change more than 4 weeks and risking blockages at that. I've observed my care and taught myself to keep the tubes as free as possible. How do you unblock the urostomy? I was hoping that wasn't possible to get blocked.
