Lukewarm Pool - Sports

The Bible says a startling thing about a lukewarm faith: It tells us that God detests it. He even warns, “So, because you are lukewarm — neither hot nor cold — I am about to spit you out of my mouth” (Revelation 3:16). Does that sound harsh?

Don’t, however, use this as an excuse for being a lukewarm or halfhearted Christian. Jesus warned, “Because you are lukewarm – neither hot nor cold – I am about to spit you out of my mouth” (Revelation 3:16). Instead, make sure of your commitment to Christ, and then make it your goal to follow Him, no matter what it costs you. God doesn’t want you to have a faded, lukewarm faith the rest of your life — and you don’t need to, because He has given us everything we need to make our faith strong and vital.

lukewarm pool, God’s will is for us to be “rooted and built up in him (Christ), strengthened in the faith” (Colossians 2:7). What can you do to strengthen your faith? Let me suggest three steps. First, focus your faith ... So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth” (Revelation 3:15-16).

Spiritual complacency and pollution are a problem. What’s the answer? First, take an inventory of your spiritual life.
