In other words, I agree with MM. I think the usage is probably primarily/originally financial: it's often crucial, in such contexts, to state the prevailing financial conditions.
There are some contexts where "here/there you are" and "here/there you go" are quite different. But when said while handing something to someone else, they are interchangeable, right?
