bed steam, Hi everyone and Merry Christmas! I installed my "factory" bed lights and I'm running into a problem - they won't light up! I ran out of daylight so... I'd put an end of it onto a furniture dolly. Then lift the other end up and onto the tailgate.
bed steam, Grab the other end off the dolly and lift/push into the truck. You'll also need an extender from the hitch to support the portion of the boat that is not sitting on the bed/tailgate. Overall looks a lot easier than loading a 500lb motorcycle. Use the bed bolts for the winch??? Another option is to mount the winch on a 2x6 and put in the bed pockets so that you can remove the winch if you need full access to the bed. Could then put straps to the D rings to hold the 2x6 down while winching.
